How billing works

Hourly work gets an estimate first. Day and week work starts once the invoice is taken care of. Card or bank transfer.

Three rates, same for every kind of project:

  • $50 an hour for short jobs
  • $400 a day (8 hours) for most recaps, promos and interview cuts
  • $1,800 a week (5 days) for a series, a documentary pass or a backlog

Hourly work. I look at the footage and send an estimate first. If you're good with it, I send the invoice and start once it's taken care of. If the job starts to run past the estimate, I tell you before I go over.

Day and week work. I send the invoice for the booking, and the work starts once it's taken care of. The time is yours on the calendar from then.

Changes are billed at $50 an hour, the same rate as the edit, with no limit on revisions. More on that in revisions and changes.

How to pay. By invoice, with a card or bank transfer.

Not sure which rate fits? Send me the footage list and the deadline. I'll tell you which one makes sense, and if it's less work than you think, I'll say so. All three rates are on pricing.
