Two different things get called "the files," so here's how each one works.
Footage you sent me. It's yours. It stays in your drive or your link the whole time. I work from it and don't use it for anything else.
Raw camera files from a shoot I filmed. Sometimes a client books me to film and edit, through Core Visuals NYC or directly. In that case the edited video is the delivery, and the raw camera files are not part of it. If you want them, they're a paid add-on, quoted up front. Raw files are hours of unsorted clips, and most people find them hard to use, which is why the edit is what you're paying for.
Project files. That's the timeline itself, so another editor could change the video later. You can have it on request. It's a DaVinci Resolve project. See what you get back.
